At Disposal Right, we believe in making a meaningful impact in our community, and what better way to do this than supporting our local youth? For the past three years, we have proudly sponsored the Ashland High School Lacrosse Fundraiser, an event that not only fosters community spirit but also supports the enrichment of our young athletes.
This year, as spring ushered in the time for renewal and clearing out, we committed once again to help make the fundraiser a success by providing six dumpsters essential for the event’s operations. The concept is simple yet profoundly impactful: families from around Ashland and surrounding areas are encouraged to clean out their homes, load up their cars or trucks, and come down to the high school where they can dispose of their unwanted items. A small fee per carload or truckload is charged, and all the proceeds go directly to supporting the Ashland High School Boys Lacrosse team.
The event turns a day of cleaning into a community gathering, with high school athletes and parent volunteers coming together to load the dumpsters. It’s inspiring to see the teamwork and community engagement as everyone works toward a common goal. After the event, we at Disposal Right take responsibility for hauling off the collected items to be recycled, ensuring that we not only help our community clean up but also do it in an environmentally responsible way.
The fundraiser has consistently raised a significant amount of money that goes directly into supporting the sports programs at Ashland High, helping to purchase new equipment, uniforms, and other essentials needed by these young athletes. It’s more than just a donation; it’s about creating a sustainable partnership that helps foster the next generation of leaders both on and off the field.
We are more than just a rental dumpster company; we are a part of the Ashland community. By turning the concept of disposal into a treasure trove of opportunities for our youth, we are helping to clean up our town in more ways than one.
